Application

Here's how the KERAZUL® Keratin Smoothing works:

Step 1
Wash your hair 2–3 times with the KERAZUL® Clarifying Shampoo.

Step 2
Then blow-dry your hair completely on medium heat.

Step 3
Apply the KERAZUL® Keratin Treatment evenly. Comb out any excess product from the hair with a comb.

Step 4
Leave the treatment on for 20 minutes. This allows the active ingredients to penetrate deeply into the hair.

Step 5
While the treatment is still in the hair, blow-dry it again completely on medium heat.

Step 6
Straighten each strand 5 times with a ceramic flat iron such as the KERAZUL® Glacé Pro.

220 °C for normal or unruly hair, 200 °C for colored hair, 180 °C for bleached or very fine hair.

Step 7
With the KERAZUL® Smoothing Shampoo, you can now wash your hair immediately after the application – no waiting time needed. Use the product together with the KERAZUL® Smoothing Conditioner afterwards to enhance and prolong the smoothing effect.

Plan for the treatment to take about 1 to 2.5 hours. The exact duration depends on the length and density of your hair: with very long or unruly hair, it can take up to 2.5 hours, while with shorter hair you are often finished in under an hour.
